We take social responsibility with the BSCI Standard (Business Social Compliance Initiative)

Since CREaCLEAN products are not only manufactured in Switzerland, it was clear from the beginning that our required social standards must also be maintained at every other production location. For this purpose, we have joined the amfori initiative to work together with numerous other companies to improve working conditions in global supply chains. We show you here what goals are being pursued and what lies behind this commitment.

A code of conduct according to clearly defined framework requirements

The AMFORI Code of Conduct is based on the conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO), the universal human rights declarations of the United Nations and the OECD guidelines. As a member of amfori BSCI, we have committed to agreeing to the following 11 principles of occupational safety and to actively engage in their enforcement:

Our company complies with the law regarding working hours.

No child labor

Binding standards for fair and sustainable supply chains

Binding goals

By joining, participants commit to involving their suppliers in the amfori BSCI process and are continuously monitored for their progress. The suppliers of BSCI participants in turn commit to compliance with the code and are audited accordingly. In addition, the companies are supported with training in further development.

Background

In 1977, the former FTA organization (Foreign Trade Association) was founded in Brussels to ensure that goods from factories and companies around the world come from supply chains with fair working conditions and environmental awareness. In 2003, this became the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI), which reorganized and has been called amfori since 2018.

Network

The association now has over 2,500 members who are active in 45 countries on 5 continents. It unites companies with a turnover of over 1.6 trillion euros. Through this collaboration and joint approach, members have a greater impact with their commitment than if they acted alone.
